X-rays in Myrtle Beach

The Complex Spine

Because of the complex nature of your spine (there are 1,000s of nerves in there!) we want to be as safe and accurate as possible.

Our exams often include an X-ray that will show your chiropractor exactly the areas we need to pinpoint.

The movement of our bodies relies heavily on the function of our spine. We’re here to help you achieve comfort and mobility in day-to-day life. Get started by booking your chiropractic appointment today.

A Picture is Worth 1,000 Words

X-rays provide us with a more detailed image of the affected areas of your spine. The picture it creates shows us your bones, 1,000s of nerves, and potential damage that could be causing your pain.

Using an X-ray allows us to get a clearer picture of issues, beyond what the human eye is able to see. If you have any questions about X-rays before your visit, please contact us.

Your Safety is Key

The picture your X-ray creates provides an in-depth look at your pain, whether it stems from nerve problems, alignment issues, or medical problems like arthritis—the swelling and tenderness of your joints. Once we have your X-ray, our chiropractors can decide exactly which treatment will benefit you the most.

Once we have your X-ray, our chiropractors can decide exactly which treatment will benefit you the most. The picture it creates shows us the precise pain points you may be experiencing.

Chiropractic adjustments apply force to your spine to realign your vertebrae and provide pain relief.

The visual picture an X-ray shows us allows us to make the most specific adjustments. An X-ray shows us the specific alignment of your vertebrae. When the columns of your spine—or vertebrae—are out of alignment, it can cause you discomfort.

Preparing for X-Rays

To help our team and you stay as comfortable as possible during your visit, there are a couple of things you can do to prepare for your X-ray.

What to Wear

When visiting for an X-ray, we recommend wearing comfortable clothing that can be moved easily. As well, please avoid wearing jewelry or metal objects as they may interfere with the X-ray results.

Even though an X-ray does involve radiation, you won’t feel anything. The level of radiation is minimal. During your X-ray, we ask that you keep still to help us get the best image possible.
